The new 2014 Lexus IS 300h F Sport is a double faced creature, being able to accommodate its passengers in a quiet and peaceful environment at low revs and then throw them into an adrenaline rush as its hybrid setup can quickly send its 220 bhp to the rear wheels.
Design wise, the car has received the bolder spindle design upfront, while the rear end got its taillights flow downwards to meet the ascending curved line of the side skirts. Also, the performance sedan’s length has been increased by 75 mm (2.9 inch), which also increased the rear passenger’s legroom by 85 mm (3.3 inch).

And speaking of the interior, it looks like some of the luxury found in the LS limousine found its way into the IS’ interior: lavish and perfectly seamed leather, the expensive feel of the switchgear and quality materials will worth every single dime.

Under the luxurious outer shell you will find a hybrid powertrain, made up of a 2.5-liter four-cylinder petrol engine and an electric motor, producing a total of 220 bhp and 300 Nm (229 lb-ft) of torque. With the help of a E-CVT gearbox, the performance sedan will go from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mp) in 8.3 seconds, reaching a top speed of 201 km/h (125 mph).

Also, the new Lexus IS 300h F Sport will be equipped with stiffer anti-roll bars to make it 20% more roll-resistant at the front, while the multi-link suspension at the back will offer 15% more grip.
