Well, it’s not the real car, but as a scale model collector, unboxing your new 1:18 LFA you just received is almost like taking the keys and have a go with the real one.
A passionate Lexus guy just received his scale model LFA Nurburgring and made a short video with the unwrapping. The car came in a shock-proof cardboard box filled with polyurethane foam pellets. Digging around, the actual mould case surfaces in which the high-detailed scale model rests.
Being a Signature Series, the model comes with a bit more details, which are certainly required on an LFA Nurburgring edition. The real car has 10 bhp more than the standard LFA, a re-calibrated transmission, front splitter, stiffer suspension, lightweight alloy rims, front side winglets and a fixed rear spoiler.
