Barack Obama is trying really hard to get reelected for his second term. In an effort to win popular support, his campaign have released two ads regarding the bailout of the US auto industry.
The first of the ads portrays Obama with an honest face and voice, explaining that the bailout move was not popular among the citizens, but he says that it was the right thing to do (and it was, we have to agree) because it “restored middle class security” with the 1-million jobs saved by the bailout.
In the second video, Brian from Ohio says "Obama stuck his neck out for us, the auto industry. He wasn't just going to let it die. And I'm driving in this morning because of that. Because of him," and adds that "the auto industry was crashing down, I was scared to death. I had a newborn baby, wife, house, and I got laid off. I wasn't sure what I was going to do."
Whether Obama’s intentions are honest or not is debatable, however, the bailout of the US auto industry was extremely important as the US economy rides on the back of the auto industry, and if it fails, everything fails.
