Australian car enthusiast Zac Mihajlovic is the proud owner of the only street-legal Batmobile in his country. With the help of his grandfather’s engineer expertise and even using some parts of the original car featured in the 1989 movie, the man claims it took two years to build it. Even though he has no plans to sell it, instead, he uses the car as a true hero, making kids with terminal diseases happy.
It took about two years to finish the job, but we have to admit the car is almost identical to its movie twin. In fact it’s even better, as it is the only Batmobile in Australia that was ever registered, thus legally allowed to run on the street.

We wanted to create and bring to life all the magic from the movie and give poeple the Batman experience normally only reserved for a select few. I has a working front turbine, afterburner and the original claimed performance,” Zac explains on the vehicle’s website.

Here the Batman fan also listed his media appearances, which obviously are quite a lot. In fact, the man claims several potential buyers have contacted him from all around the world.

Sexual proposal

He even received some weird proposal, one involving a couple that asked him to rent the car so they could have intimate relations in the car. How about that for a Batman fan?

Mihajlovic never said yes to none of them, instead he is currently collaborating with the Make-a-Wish foundation, through which he gives a helping hand to ill kids to make their last dreams come true.

With a simple Google search you’ll find several reports with the fellow, but we liked the one made by Barcroft TV most, so we listed below. Also check out the photo gallery to get a proper look of the Aussie Batmobile.
