Australia Getting Subaru WRX Club Spec Limited Edition

While not that many special editions are made for Australia by mainstream manufacturers outside the country, Subaru will be offering a special version of the Impreza WRX, which will not be available anywhere else, to reward the excellent sales figures. Limited to 300 examples, the WRX Club Spec’s defining feature will be the optional tangerine color scheme, as it really sets it apart from any WRX we’ve ever seen, especially when combined with the look of the black bits bolted onto its body.

The aforementioned ‘black bits’ include lightweight 17-inch alloys, black STI spoiler and black mirrors. The car also gets ‘special treatment’ on the inside, with seats trimmed in leather, with orange stitching for orange cars and red stitching for black cars (we would opt for the orange any day, though), as well as a numbered plaque placed on the dash, to remind you that you are driving a rather exclusive vehicle.

However, not everything is included as standard, as buyers can opt for a $1000 AUD kit (which is usually $2,100 AUD, but cheaper on the Club Spec) featuring a special front lip spoiler, shortened gear lever and a flexible strut tower brace bar. The car goes on sale in August and it will retail at $41,490 AUD, and we thoroughly recommend the stunning orange paint job.
