It turns out his ride wasn’t actually wrecked for good. As far as we can tell, it’s the same Pontiac the San Antonio, Texas-born pop singer - many call the future Justin Bieber - drove when it suddenly broke, leaving Austin Mahone asking for help on Facebook.
As embarrassing it may turn out, sometimes your beloved daily driver leaves you behind unnoticed. Or should we say that sometimes you’re the one that needs to leave it be and switch to a better, newer vehicle? Either way, it seems the 19-year-old singer has a soft spot for his Pontiac Firebird considering he recently took it to the shop for a refresh, instead of solely sticking to his Range Rover.

The word is, Austin dropped his ride for a full update at the nice folks over at Metro Wrapz, who took proper care of it. According to the renown wrapping shop, this car is not just the regular auto, considering Mahone’s Pontiac Firebird Trans Am actually belonged to his grandfather.

The crew went on to work on a new interior, roof, new wheels and tires. The new wrap consists of an eye-catching matte red chrome from APA America, an alleged premiere on US soil. We don’t know about the eye candy effect, but we’re more than certain it will have a lot of passers-by’s attention.

Not that we actually listen to the fellow’s music, but it appears that the change in car-style comes along with his recent plans in music. It’s been a busy year, with Mahone’s Dirty Work single from his upcoming debut album being released this July, and a more recent hit Do It Right featuring Rob The Villan hitting the market as well.

In an interview with Billboard, he stated that at the end of 2015 he will release the album. Who knows, maybe he’ll have the red Pontiac starring in one of his upcoming visual installments. It may not be a Rolls-Royce, but it should the job.
