Although Australia is not getting the 2014 Corolla as we’ve seen it in the US and Europe, their Auris with Corolla badging is the most sold Toyota model on the local market.
Reports show that the Toyota Corolla and Hilux have reached top positions in Australia’s sale charts in the last month, also topping those from April, May and June this year.
September 2013 sales were dominated by the Corolla, which became Australia’s best-seller with 3,443 units sold out of a total of 17,500 Toyotas.
As a reminder, Toyota Australia’s total sales from January to September 2013 reached 158,793 units, making it the best-selling automotive brand for the eleventh consecutive year. Other vehicles leading the segments last month were the Camry, GT 86, Land Cruiser 200 Series and HiAce.
