Brazilian DTM Driver for BMW, Augusto Farfus, seems to be going through a very good period of his life. After winning in Oschersleben in the 8th race of the 2013 DTM season, Farfus claimed another win at the Dutch circuit of Zandvoort.
However, despite his back-to-back wins, Augusto couldn't stop Audi driver, Mike Rockenfeller from winning this season's title, the German coming in second in Sunday's race.
After starting second on the grid, behind BMW Team MTEK, Marco Witmann, Augusto was leading by the first corner of the race and put up an impressive display of skill throughout the race.
Marco, on the other hand, finished fifth aboard his Ice-Watch BMW M3 DTM, with Joey Hand just two spots behind him, scoring valuable points for BMW Team RBM. The rest of the BMW Drivers weren't in the points, with Martin Tomczyk finishing 11th, Timo Glock 18th, Andy Priaulx 19th and Bruno Spengler 20th.
At the moment, the BMW Team RBM has 148 points in the team competition, just 3 points behind Audi Sport Team Phoenix and BMW is now second in the Manufacturer's championship with 317 points, 8 behind leader Audi, meaning that the Manufacturer's title is still within reach.
