Audi Frankfurt Trailer: Is That a New Quattro Concept?

Audi Quattro Concept
Audi released what it calls a trailer for the 2011 IAA in Frankfurt. The video seemed purposeless at first, playing game with cars that we already know of: the new 2012 Audi S8, S7 Sportback, S6, S6 Avant and 2012 Audi A8 Hybrid production models. But there’s also something new in there.
Back in July, we brought you news of the Quattro Concept, upon which Audi should have decided by September. Well, the video shows us a very brief glimpse of the second version of the concept that evokes the rally legend.

Back in July, Audi reportedly had this very concept ready to show to the public, but they had not decided to put it into limited production. This could mean that Audi does indeed give a production green light to the car that might use the same 4.2-liter as the RS5. We’ll find out for sure when the 2011 Frankfurt Auto Show gets underway next week.
