It's been around the interwebs for quite some time now, but it's just now when the first "physical evidence" of Indian's new line of bikes has surfaced. Here's an audio sample which lets us dream about the new Indians, introduced by Mike Wolfe of "American Picks" fame.
To be honest we were expecting something more aggressive, with more low-end grunt, but the sound of the new engine is indeed truly appealing. We're no fans of the high-pitched yelping some of the big cruisers come with, and we hope there will be even more chunky roar coming the new Indian way.
We are really looking forward to see the new Indian motorbikes and judging them against the good-old history-making machines of yore, and it seems like the waiting is not going to be too long. Indian will disclose more on the new machines at the 32nd annual Progressive International Motorcycle Show in Long Beach, while the all-new Polaris-made engine (and hopefully more) will be shown in March next year, during Daytona Bike Week.
