Audi US Ski Team Documentary Available on the iTunes Store

The "Truth in Motion: The U.S. Ski Team's Road to Vancouver" commissioned by Audi will be available as a free download, exclusively on the iTunes Store in both HD and SD versions. Olympics and sports enthusiasts alike will be able to enjoy the documentary on their Mac or PC, iPhone, iPod with video and on a TV with Apple TV.

The documentary is centered around how the American athletes prepared for the 2010 Olympic Winter Games. Some of the athletes qualified for the competition and some did not and the film will detail the triumphs and struggles of all those involved.

"Behind every Olympic athlete are years of grueling preparation, heartbreak and triumph and we couldn't be more honored that the U.S. Ski team allowed us to share that side of the experience with the world,"
said Scott Keogh, Chief Marketing Officer at Audi of America. "By creating this film, we had the unique opportunity to share a powerful story that otherwise might not have been told."

The film is directed by Brett Morgen, multiple-award winning director of such acclaimed documentaries as The Kid Stays in the Picture and On the Ropes. Morgen used special camera techniques like ultra slow-motion shots during the filmmaking process, creating the effect of making time stand still and showcasing the technique the skiers apply in matters of milliseconds.

Audi is a sponsor of the U.S. Ski Team and the film, according to Audi of America Chief Marketing Officer Scott Keogh, provided a chance to chronicle the technology, innovation and willpower that define both Audi and the U.S. Ski Team.
