Audi TTS Tuned to 370 HP by ABT Sportsline

The Audi TTS is already one seriously fast car, considering that it only has a 2-liter turbocharged engine. However, German tuner ABT has something for those who want more: 370 PS, or enough to mess with Porsche drivers.

A series of changes brought to the TFSI engine have resulted in a power increase of 60 PS. Not only that, but torque is increased by 80 Nm (59 lb-ft) to 460 Nm.

The tuners won't say how much faster the TTS has become, but considering the standard 0 to 100 km/h sprint time is 4.7 seconds, we believe this toy is now in the low fours.

As usual, the power increase is accompanied by modest cosmetic enhancements. These include a new front spoiler that attached to the stock bumper, air intakes, new mirror caps and a rear diffuser. ABT also encourages its customers to order gloss, matte, pearl or metallic wrap.

This particular TTS has also been fitted with a fixed rear wing, four extra-large exhaust pipes, power suspension and a set of custom 20-inch wheels.

We often talk about this German tuning shop that seems to target everything from the tiny VW Up! to the Audi Q7, but not many know how the company started. It all has to do with Abarth racing team, that promised somebody called Johann Abt that he could race a factory car for free if he won all the races he entered. The guy almost succeeded, as out of 30 races, he won 29 and came second in just one. He later went on to found his own company, ABT Sportsline.

It's kind of funny how Abarth has become a Fiat brand and ABT is the go-to place for VW tuning.
