We're more into cars here at autoevolution but from time to time, we like to experiment with different human arts, on a single condition: at least one car should be involved.
Audi seems to do the same with the S8, so we were happy to find out what is that all about. Of course, Audi being Audi and all that, they are riding on high horses and managed to 'steal' cameo legend Stan Lee for a commercial.
If that seems a bit awkward and all of the sudden with no reason, hear us out. The entire ad is just another brick in Audi's promoting campaign for the Avengers: Age of Ultron launch, intensively promoted by the Ingolstadt carmaker in the past few months.
That comes as a natural move since Tony Stark will drive the 2016 Audi R8 in the new movie. In addition, Audi will also see the A3 Cabrio and the TTS playing a part in the action movie.
Coming back to the commercial we told you about a few paragraphs before, Audi has a more fun-oriented approach, contrasting with the overall atmosphere around the Avenger: Age of Ultron movie.
Besides Stan Lee, you'll also be able to spot Tara Reid, Michael Rooker, Lou Ferrigno and Jason Mewes, in what we think is a video full of humour and joy. Except the Audi S8, which does what it knows best and maintains a too-serious German-like posture. But hey, cameo is all about mixing up and adapting to different roles, so we won't mind that.
