For those for whom the current Audi SQ5, powered by the VW group’s twin-turbocharged V6 diesel engine, with 313 hp (0-100 km/h / 0-62 mph time of 5.1 seconds) is not quick enough, a screenshot from an electronic parts catalog has revealed that an even more powerful version is on its way.
It will most likely be powered by Audi’s 3.0-liter supercharged engine, which as the parts catalog shows, develops 354 hp. This means that its 0-100 km/h time would drop under the 5 second threshold, making the SQ5 one serious performance machine.

If we are to believe the catalog, then the petrol-powered SQ5 will make its debut in May of 2013, despite the fact that Audi has yet to announce, or even hint at such a car being launched, or in the works for that matter.

The current SQ5 is a pretty serious machine in and of itself, yet the introduction of a relatively small, yet high-powered SUV means a lot of fun behind the wheel, if they manage to get the steering and suspension settings just right, as well as adjusting the bias of the all-wheel drive system, to get more power to the back.
