Audi Showcases the 2013 R8 Build Process

Two hundred and forty one. This is the number of people that put together the Audi R8 at the automotive producer’s plant in Neckarsulm. Audi wanted to showcase the assembly process of its go-fast machine, so the company recently released a video that takes us into the heart of the aforementioned production site.

The 2013 Audi R8 is the star of the clip, which shows us how the aforementioned specialist bring the car to life with care, as this is a hand assembly job.

A total of 5,196 components are handled in order to bring the R8 to the world. The video takes us through the various stages of the build process, from the paint shop to the final moment when the ignition is switched on.

The unit used as an example is a V8 model, which is dressed in White. The vehicle proudly shows us its LED headlights at the end of the clip.
