After that unique chrome Audi R8 a couple of years ago, Audi continues to show support to Elton John White Tie & Tiara Ball, which raises money for the singer’s AIDS foundation.
This time, the automaker pitched in its ultimate performance estate, the RS6 Avant,, which was signed by actress Gwyneth Paltrow. She recently played the role of Pepper Pots in the third Iron Man movie, and Audi has long been associated with this franchise.
The RS6 Avant raised no less than £120,000 for charity, not only because it was signed by a celeb, but also because it's stunningly good looking and offers a 4-liter twin-turbo V10 producing 560PS and 700 Nm.
"Audi is delighted to donate the unique RS 6 Avant for the equally unique White Tie & Tiara Ball. We are thrilled at the benefit it will give to Sir Elton's AIDS Foundation, which does such outstanding charity work, and very proud to be continued sponsors of the Ball," says Jon Zammett, Head for PR for Audi UK.
