Audis are mainly bought by salesmen who travel cross-country, by executives and older people who want fast but comfortable cars. If you ever get a chance to go to Germany, you'll see the place is jam-packed with A4 and A6 Avants, most of them black or silver.
However, Audi has a wild side as well. If you check out their official website, you'll see some of the model names have a big red  symbol. That's where the magic happens. The RS6 is probably their best known and most successful go-fast car, a benchmark at what it does – carrying larges volumes of stuff and people at warp speeds.

Not one RS6 has ever been described as being boring. But we've found an example that goes the extra mile thanks to its bold "Speedgelb" paint. This is a customer car made using the Audi Exclusive catalog that's being showcased at the Audi Forum Ingolstadt. Besides the bright paint shade, the RS6 also boasts a few carbon goodies and has had all its chrome trim blacked out, a factory option.

If Speed Yellow sounds a bit familiar, that's because Audi isn't the only company to use it. During the 90s, it was extremely popular with Porsche 993 fans and even made a cameo appearance on the old BMW M3 as an Individual color.

The RS6 has been in production since 2002, when it was launched with a 4.2-liter V8 biturbo. The one that came after that in 2008 boasted an even larger Lamborghini-sourced V10 engine, again, with biturbo technology. Our current hero has been motivated by a 4-liter V8 since its debut in late 2012. The C7 RS6 produces a very impressive 560 PS and 700 Nm (516 lb-ft) of torque. Being capable of sprinting from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.9 seconds.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
