With the facelift of the RS6 already completed, we're unlikely to see anything new going on with this quattro racer until the next generation arrives in a few years. Where is the RS6 Plus? We don't know, but nobody has been it testing for quite some time.
Still, that means if you buy your 560 horsepower family wagon today, it will hold onto its value a little better. That's probably not true if you go for a crazy color that nobody else but you will like, but this model we found keeps things classy and simple.
The paint finish is called Mocha Latte and comes from the Audi Exclusive catalog, having the ordering code Q0Q0. There are a few other options too. For example, we see that it comes with the Gloss Black Optics Package (code PA7, RS-sport exhaust system (0P6), cast aluminum wheels in the 5 double-spoke design and black mirror caps (6FJ).
The interior is also packed with options. For instance, the leather is done in a combination of black and alabaster-white, with contrast stitching in white. This combination covers everything from the seats to the roof, doors and steering wheel. We would have liked to see some more carbon fiber, but maybe that's not for everybody.
Launched in 2013, the RS6 is still one of the fastest wagons in the world. It's fitted with a twin-turbo 4-liter V8 similar to the one used by the Bentley Continental GT V8 and will run from 0 to 100 km/h in only 3.9 seconds. This performance is controlled through an eight-speed automatic gearbox and Audi's trademark quattro all-wheel drive systems.
