There's an obvious lack of tuning projects for the all-new Audi RS3. The 2.5-liter turbo engine is similar to the older one, so the legendary MTM 410 and other projects from two years ago are still relevant right now.
Separated by a couple of hours, we stumbled upon two somewhat interesting projects based on the RS3 8V. They weren't all that mind-blowing, but after a short while, we realized the same company was behind both of them. We're talking about a German auto shop called Gepfeffert.

Under the hood of a red RS3, they installed the latest MTM software system that boosts output from 367 to 430 PS. As you may have noticed, it also has an RS6 big brother with three more cylinders and 705 PS.

From what we gather, the wheels do not belong to the RS3 range and were borrowed from the A6's extended parts catalog. The 20-inch alloys are shod with 235/30 R20 winter tires from Vredestein. A set of custom KW coilovers and Misano Red foil wrap complete the transformation.

The second tuning project is even more striking. It features sky blue paintjob, wider fenders, and some custom wheels. While we can easily identify the 5-spoke 19-inch OZ alloy wheels and custom KW shocks, we don't know who makes this body package.

The RS3 is slightly wider than the A3, so custom fenders made for that car wouldn't fit this hyper hatch. And yet, this project was finished in July, just two months after RS3 8V deliveries began in Germany.

For the record, the mightiest of Audi A3 models comes standard with a 2.5-liter turbo engine, quattro all-wheel-drive, and a 7-speed S tronic gearbox. It also sits 10mm lower than the S3 and features better brakes. While the boot is a decent size and the cabin is a testament to Audi's leatherworks, prices start at €60,000. Only the die-hard fans of this brand will buy one, and at least one thought it needed to be wider.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
