Audi RS Q3 Filmed in the Alps

Here's a car I've been waiting to see since 2012. It's the RS Q3, the first RS Q model in Audi's lineup, something that would have been unthinkable maybe 5 years ago, but which Audi is more than happy to offer right now.
On paper, the RS Q3 isn't that impressive. Audi has fitted the car with the 2.5 TFSI, an award winning engine. But they cut output from the TT-RS's 340 PS to just 310 PS to balance delivery and economy into the equation.

The interesting thing about the RS Q3 is that if you're actually a buyer, not an auto journalist bashing Ingolstadt for the way it does things, the car makes sense. Right now, it's the cheapest RS model you can buy. AT €54,600 in Germany, it undercuts the ›56,950 TT-RS Coupe. That makes it half the price of the RS7 Sportback as well, the most expensive RS model.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
