Audi RS 3 Sportback Test Drive on the iPhone

So, the car is so new, that it is no where to be found for you to give it a spin and try it out. Or, even worse, the car is in your country, but too far from your current location for you to be able to get there before the test drive days are over. What's to be done, then?

Well, if you are the owner of an iPhone, you can use the gadget to test drive the new Audi RS 3, because this is the model we were talking about. The German auto maker announced today the launch of an iPhone app to match the presentation of the car at the 2011 Geneva Auto Show tomorrow.

If you can manage to find it on the Apple App Store, the Asphalt Audi RS 3 app will give you a taste of the model Gameloft-style.

“This is a way for our customers to get to know the new Audi RS 3 Sportback even before the official market launch,”
said Lothar Korn, head of marketing communications at Audi.

The app developed by the game creator will give the players the opportunity to test the RS 3 using the touch-screen or via tilt control, will give all the chance to test your iPhone driving maneuvers and even customize the model, you know, in case you ever think of doing that in the real world.

The app allows online play, with the fastest among you after three rounds on the Bahamas track getting a shot at a very interesting (and one to die for) prize: a brand new, real-life, real-size Audi A3 Sportback 2.0 TFSI quattro with the S line sports and exterior package.
