The guys from Audi along with AT&T have decided to reveal the new data plans concerning the all-new 2015 A3 sedan and established the price for the first ever in-vehicle 4G LTE connectivity.
It seems we’re talking about a competitive price, people having the chance to choose between two data plan options such as a 5GB/ 6-month plan for $99 and a 30 GB/ 30-month plan for $499. From Audi’s experience with 3G+, it seems that customers prefer either a 6-month or a 30-month term, as these plans are designed to accommodate the consumer’s regular usage. If by any chance the driver is about to reach the data plan limit, he will receive an e-mail alert.

"Having the choice of two data plans gives the consumer the opportunity to choose a contract that works best for their lifestyle and allows them to maintain connectivity in the vehicle for an extended period of time,” said Scott Keogh, President of Audi America. Thus, with the new AT&T data plans with 4G LTE connectivity, Audi drivers will be able to enjoy seamless navigation as well as high-speed access to the internet. This is quite an important thing as the Internet is constantly present in our lives.

Moreover, the German automobile maker plans to roll out the 4G LTE capability across its entire lineup as new models will appear. The first-ever 4G LTE service launches with the new A3 family, so drivers will get read-aloud news headlines, Facebook and Twitter alerts, access to more than 7,000 Web radio stations and a lot more. This isn’t all, as an accompanying mobile app will also be incorporated in the all-new 2015 A3 sedan and will allow advanced functionality between the MMI system and smartphones.
