Audi R8 V10, Most Popular "Regular" Supercar, autoevolution Poll Reveals

We finally have the results for our IAA-inspired supercar poll. After the prototype-with-the-most-chances-of-making-it-to-production one, we set to find out on which “affordable” and “available” supercar would you rather spend money on. Because of the aforementioned constraints, our options were pretty limited, thus making it easier for you to choose from.

From the three options available, Audi R8 V10, Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG and Lexus LFA, most of your votes went to the most affordable one, namely the Audi R8 V10, which has an estimated price of $145, 000. With 56% of the votes, one could say that the Audi scored a decisive win against Merc and Lexus.

Second place went to Mercedes Benz’s SLS AMG (with 30% of the votes), which took first place in the Most Anticipated Frankfurt Premiere poll we had back in September. In all, a good performance for Mercedes’ gullwing designed supercar.

The podium was completed by the Lexus LFA, which only managed to gather 12% of the votes. Incidentally, the LFA is also the most expensive of them all, with a price tag close to $400,000.

If you are a poll fan and want to express your opinion in any possible matter, be sure to check out our homepage (left side, after a bit of scrolling down) for the latest debate. It's close to Christmas time, the United Reindeer Union (URU) is on strike, so we have to pick a new ride for Santa.
