Usually, when cars have lots of numbers in their names, it’s because they are either too boring or extremely cool, though we think you guys already know which category this red devil falls into.
Right now, the GT650 is only a body kit for the Audi R8 which made its debut recently at the Essen Motor Show. But the reputation German tuner Prior Design has, we’re likely to actually see some sort of supercharged monster with 650 horsepower in the end.
The widebody kit focuses on creating the look of the famous GT3 race cars on a road-going R8’s body. For this reason, the pack includes a big wing, flared arches, new bumper, a huge diffuser at the back, massively flared side skirts and a gigantic scoop on roof of the coupe.
The full package comes in at a modest €24,900 ($32,150) and can be accompanied by a set of much wider 20-inch ADV1 wheels with Continental tires.
Prior have already finished work on an engine mod for the base 4.2-liter V8 engine, boosting it to either 475 hp or 565 hp. Come on guys, only a bit more, and we’ll match the GT650’s name!
