When it comes to the Audi R8, it’s pretty obvious that this car can be used in a variety of ways but to transform it into an alarm clock is rather weird even for us. Therefore, when we saw it happen, we had to share it with you guys.
The video below comes from Armytrix, the ones that are usually responsible for melted bumpers at stop lights and deafening sounds down the street coming from supercars. Their exhaust systems are definitely amongst the loudest you can get and they are proud of their work, as they very well should.
During one of their trips, a poor unsuspecting passenger in an Audi R8 apparently dozed off at some point. We can only imagine that he was absolutely exhausted since he managed to get some eye shut in such a car.
That’s because the R8 is not like the A8 if you catch our drift. The sportscar has an incredibly harsh ride that will send jolts through your spine at every crack in the asphalt. Furthermore, the seats can only be described as hard, anything else failing to describe how you’re going to feel in them.
So something smelled fishy from the get go. We guess that if you’re tired enough you can fall asleep in basically any situation so the video below might not be fake after all but the point was to show us just how loud things can get.
Well, it’s loud! The Armytrix exhaust attached to the 5.2-liter V10 engine of the R8 sure does a great job. Chip in the tunnel nearby and you get volume like never before. If that guy was really asleep, that’s a good way to wake him up. As for the car, you can hear it better in the second video posted below, that shows us exactly how mad things can get. Enjoy!
