Audi Q8 Sits Nicely on Vossen Forged Wheels

Being one of the boldest 4x4s ever produced by Audi or the German automotive industry for that matter, the Audi Q8 is undeniably going to get its fair share of attention from tuners. This is just a little pet project put together by the wheel specialists at Vossen.

Unless we're mistaken, the car was shown at the 2018 SEMA show, where it understandably couldn't get much attention without the obligatory body kit. But some are undoubtedly on their way, and we don't think this is the last time Vossen wheels are fitted to the Q8.

The number 8 is an important one for Audi. We have the R8, which is their flagship supercar, the A8 flagship sedan and now this. The smash or pass game seems to favor the Audi Q8, as even the people who say they hate SUV enjoy the aggressive look of this Audi flagship. The man responsible for this is Marc Lichte, who did deliver on his promise of making Audi models different from each other. You can see how his philosophy differs from what BMW does with the X6 or Mercedes with the GLE Coupe.

Anyway, the design of the Q8 kind of boils down to its big grille and powerful LED lighting statements. It looks about as powerful and imposing as its Lamborghini Urus sister car, even though the only thing you'll find under the hood is a V6.

In the case of the $67,400 American market model, this implies a 335-horsepower 3-liter turbo sending power to a quattro AWD system. We don't know how much the wheels cost because they are a new design.

The M-X6 has a concave design which brings out the fender flares with a little help from the air suspension. The alloys belong to the forged family, and their black paint finish is coupled with a black Thule roof box and the black of the shadow line pack from Audi.
