You know what we always say: if the rice doesn't stick well, it's not good for sushi. Any chef knows you need a little bit of sugar and salt, but not all know the secret formula to perfectly sticky rice. Audi, however, is a company that knows everything about making things stick in difficult conditions and has announced it's entering the sushi business.
A quattro chain of restaurants will be opened today, April 1st, in the famous Ginza district of Tokyo. Moving with the confidence of all-wheel drive, the German company will diversify its lineup to suit not only local but also more European tastes. German sushi will be offered in a new Toro Toro beef flavor, together with more traditional organic tuna and lobster.
Recognized as a part of World Cultural Heritage, this traditional Japanese dish is served raw and best demonstrates the precision and attention to detail of this country's people, something Audi is no stranger to.
