Audi Opens Its Largest Center

German manufacturer Audi and its UK based division announced the opening of its biggest center in the world: the West London Audi. Apart from Audi's praising statements regarding the center, we must admit the center itself is quite a feat: it took the British Divison six years and £45 million to erect the seven storeys high building.

The building houses several areas, with the showroom alone as big as some small Esat-European auto shows: it can house 116 vehicles. Underground, the center houses a 32-bay workshop and a big enough parking while the top is occupied by the Audi quattro Rooms.

The special Rooms are used to display vehicles spanning throughout the company's 100 years history, but can also be used as meeting or exhibition locations. Audi takes much pride in their screening room, fully equipped with 103-inch Bang & Olufsen screens.

It is a great privilege to be chosen by Audi to operate this amazing flagship dealership. The West London Audi team are incredibly excited about the imminent opening and by the opportunity of delivering a world class service from what is without doubt a World Class facility,“ Gerard Nieuwenhuys, Audi UK managing director said at the opening.

The building itself will be staffed by 100 people, who will have the tremendous task of serving some 30,000 customers expected to pass through the front doors in the following year.

To mark the opening, Audi has invited several key British figures, including Sir Bobby Charlton, Sir Jackie Stewart, Gordon Ramsay or Keeley Hawes.
