An editor for CAR Magazine captured this interesting photo at a UK event for the launch of the RS5 Cabriolet. Three models are covered up under a banner saying “2013 The year of quattro GmbH”.
The one on the very right is quite clearly the RS6 Avant, which was revealed just a few days ago. The other shape under that cover is likely to be another car powered by the same twin-turbo V8, the RS7.
This 4-liter engine under its bonnet should make the same 560 PS output as the RS6, and again, as its newly arrived rival, the M6 Gran Coupe.
The car on the very left of the image is quite clearly a hot hatchback or small crossover. Judging by the size of the cover, it’s likely the RS Q3, powered by a detuned 2.5-liter TFSI. Though we’re still waiting on the RS1 and the RS3 as well.
