Audi Launches "Start-Stop" Task-Killing Android App

Audi’s Spanish arm has recently launched a marketing initiative that aims to boost the carmaker’s efforts to gift its vehicles with a Start-Stop system. While your car knows when to stop its engine on its own, Audi wants your phone to do the same and has launched a Start-Stop... Android App.

This is a task-killing application and since it’s a marketing exercise, it works in a usual way. Audi’s Start-Stop app detects open applications that are not in use and informs the user, inviting him or her to close the apps in order to save battery.

While pushing its button on the screen has nothing to do with restarting the engine in your car, we have to admit the wrap for the package is original.
