"Special" editions are a dime a dozen these days and it's getting increasingly hard to find a cool new theme. But what Audi Japan has done is without a doubt unique.
In order to show support for the national football team of Japan, which Audi is sponsoring, they've launched the "Audi × SAMURAI BLUE 11 Limited Edition". Just as the name suggests, these eleven cars form a team of expert swordsman with sharp lines that can cut through the enemy and still perfectly slice a tomato.

All 11 cars belong to Audi's S family of quattro toys and come finished in the same Estoril Blue, which reflects the colors of the Japanese football team. Details like the seats, the leather on the doors and the steering wheel are all stitched in red, again mirroring uniforms.

While most special editions are built in the hundreds or thousands, there's only one of each with this project and they will be sold on a "first come, first served" basis at the following prices:
  • S3 Sportback for 6,710,000 yen
  • S4 serdan for 9,085,429 yen
  • S4 Avant for 9,355,429 yen
  • S5 Sportback for 9,876,571 yen
  • S5 Coupe for 10,046,571 yen
  • S6 sedan for 13,377,715 yen
  • S6 Avant for 13,837,715 yen
