Audi Explains Hands Free Trunk Release

Luxury would be nothing without convenience and ease of use. That’s why Audi’s top cars, the A7 and A8 are sold in the US with Hands Free Trunk Release.

The feature ensure that when you have your hands full, the trunk of the car opens up without you having to reach the button. Simply place your foot underneath the bumper and it will open up. To make sure you know when the feature is activated, the tail lights will flash. After you’re done, simply press the button on the inside lip to activate the power close feature.

This video recently released by Audi of America showcases how this feature works. Just one more think your Audi does to make like a little easier.
