Audi is looking to expand its market share and the company wants to release new models that would allow it to cover more segments and bring new customers to the brand. The automotive producer is considering building an MPV, as well as a two-wheeld creation.
The carmaker’s Sales and Marketing Chief, Peter Schwarzenbauer explained that the company finds the traditional MPV “boring” and that it would like to introduce its own interpretation of this, which would come with six or seven seats. The executive hinted that the Ford S-Max is the kind of model that brings a fresh feeling to the segment and named this as a good example.
In addition to that, Schwarzenbauer said that Audi also wants to launch a mobility solution for urban transportation, but pointed out that this wouldn’t be a rebadged Ducati. Thus, a scooter, which would, of course, be built with Ducati’s help, is a potential future release.
