Just as predicted, Audi has presented several other 2017 model year changes besides the A4 and the Q7. We are talking about the rumored A6 and A7 Competition models, which have been priced and detailed.
The new 2017 A6 Competition packs a 3.0T engine making 340 hp and 325 lb-ft of torque, so it's supercharged not turbocharged. The model comes standard with the quattro all-wheel drive along with a rear quattro sport differential that helps with cornering.

It seems to be based on the A6 Prestige trim level and packs the S line exterior kit, 20” 5-double-spoke titanium wheels and red front and rear brake calipers. Inside, you get S sport Valcona leather seats with contrast diamond stitching and a flat bottom steering wheel with shift paddles. All this can be yours at $67,600 plus destination, which means it costs $6,000 more than the A6 Prestige base car.

Pretty much the same treatment applies to the A6 Competition, but it starts at $76,550. Auch!

If you ask us, that's way too much money. Why? Because the S6 sedan has a twin-turbo V8 and costs less at $74,400. You can say anything about the design differences, but you can't argue about handling since the S6 knows more tricks and we think the S tronic shifts faster too.

The color Java Brown - previously only available on the Audi A6 allroad - is now also available for the Audi A6, A6 Avant, and A7 Sportback. There are two new wheel designs available for the sedan and wagon, and three for the A7 Sportback.

For the A6 allroad quattro, "Audi adopts striking visual differentiating features to reinforce its off-road character." The extensive Advanced package is available as an option for all engine versions. On the outside, it includes the new paint finish Soho Brown and the new color structure gray for the add-on parts. 20-inch wheels and quattro permanent all-wheel drive with sport differential add the finishing touches. Inside, the package includes sport seats upholstered in high-end Valcona leather. The color Santos brown with new silver contrasting stitching harmonizes with inlays in Aluminum Ellipse silver and fine grain birch natural agate gray.
