Audi A8 Debuts Two New Equipment Packages

Audi A8 has just expanded its equipment packages offering with two new options, Audi comfort plus style package and Audi sport plus style package. There's also a new paint color, codenamed Panther Black with crystal effect which will be available exclusively for the A8.

In essence, the Audi A8 equipped with comfort plus style package will boast a Night Blue color with pearl effect as well as some new features, including 19-inch forged aluminum wheels with 12-spoke design, comfort seats upholstered in silk beige Valcona leather and full leather trim for the center console, doors and dashboard. Some new functions are also included in the package, such as heating for the front and rear seats, and front seats with seat ventilation and massage function, adaptive light system with LED daytime running lights.

The Audi sport plus style package comes with Panter-Black, crystal effect paint, exclusively available on the A8, as well as with 20-inch S design aluminum wheels with dark steel finish and beige Valcona leather and heating for the front seats. The center console, doors and lower dashboard are trimmed in black Fine Nappa leather, according to a statement issued today by Audi. Adaptive light with LED daytime running lights are also included in the package.

The Audi comfort plus style package costs between € 4,200 and €14,500, depending on engine version, while the Audi sport plus style package is sold between € 2,100 and € 9,600, once agin, depending on the engine configuration of the respective model.

Audi A8 comes in a choice of five different engine configurations, with the 6.0-liter W12 producing a maximum output of 450 hp (331 kW) and 427.8 lb-ft of torque between 4000 and 4700 rpm.
