Audi’s US arm today released a new commercial that aims to showcase the technologically-inspired beauty of the brand’s creations. The star of the ad is the new 2013 Audi A7 Sportback, which is used as a display for Audi technology.
The message Audi sends us is pretty clear: “Sometimes beauty is in the eye of the engineer”. While we agree with this principle, we can’t help but notice they’ve cheated a little bit.
You see, the A7 may share the A6’s mechanical side, but when it comes to its body, designers are the ones to receive credit, not engineers. The A7 Sportback is one of the most beautiful Audis we’ve seen over the last few years, so this was not quite a neutral choice.
