Now that the Audi A7 Sportback is among us (the vehicle has made its world debut on Monday), it is time for the S line kit to make its entrance on the automotive world scene.

So, you want to buy an A7. You may or may not want your future vehicle to be an Autobahn-blitzer, but you certainly want it to look like one. The solution (which is not new at all) is simple: you can choose the S line package, which will bring improvements for both your future vehicle’s interior and exterior.

Ticking the pack’s option box means that you’ll get a redesigned front bumper that features new air inlets using a bolder design, together with a lip spoiler, new side skirts that also use a sporty design and a fresh rear bumper that houses a diffuser and a set of chromed tailpipes. In addition to that, your car will ride on 19 inch alloy rims.

As for the interior, you will receive brushed Aluminium Silver trimming, a mix of leather and Alacantra or a full leather finish for the seats, a three spoke multi function steering wheel (this also comes finished in leather) and a leather finish for the gear knob. The package also brings S line logos.

The sporty packages have a special status in the German carmakers’ vehicle line-ups, with Audi offering the S line, Mercedes the AMG package and BMW the M Sport package. This is the automotive producers’ way of making the most (marketing wise) out of their performance division’s images.
