Audi A7 Sportback Boosted by Senner

The VW Group’s 3.0-liter TDI engine, in its current form, offers a decent level of power, but you couldn’t say that you don’t want more. We know, we’re talking in general here, so we’ll zoom in on a certain model for this story. The vehicle we are talking about is the Audi A7 Sportback.

Since we mention the powerplant’s output, we’ll be more specific and remind you that the unit delivers 245 hp when it leaves the factory. However, like we said, you’re probably want more muscle under the hood of your A7 Sportback. So, what can you do? Well, the answer is simple... send your vehicle to the automotive gym.

This time, the gym is called Senner Tuning, as the German aftermarket developer has just released a new performance upgrade for the A7 3.0 TDI.

We are talking about an ECU remap, as well as about a custom exhaust system for the oil burner. The mods increase the unit’s output from 245 hp and 500 Nm of torque to 306 hp and 620 Nm of torque. And the performance story doesn’t end here, as the tuner has also played with the electronic speed limiter. Thus, the car can now reach a top speed of 174 mph (280 km/h).

Don’t worry, you won’t have any problem handling the power, as the connection to the road has also been upgraded. The vehicle received a new suspension, which brings it 30 mm closer to the road and now rides on 20-inch rims that use 275/35 tires.
