Mercedes is getting ready to launch a brand new model that basically combines a wagon and a four-door coupe. It will be called the CLS Shooting Brake and it will debut in force at the Paris Motor Show, powered by everything from V6s to a twin-turbo V8.
We love the idea, and it clear from this car and the BMW 6-Series Gran Coupe that German engineers and designers are willing to break every rule in order to sell more cars. This might just be the next big thing on the horizon!

Car rendering specialist Theophilus Chin has rightfully speculated on the idea of an A7 Avant. Right now, the A7 is limited to just one body shape. But Audi has already proven its taste for the strange when it turned the A5 coupe into a four-door. So why not a big estate model with streamlined proportions?

The shape of the side glass surface works much in the same way as it does on the Jaguar XF Sportbrake, in that it mimics the sedan but extends the greenhouse towards the back.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
