Audi A4 ultra Commercial: Domino

Part of Audi's eco-friendly initiative, the A ultra was just announced last month and is already making its way into German showrooms, accompanied by this very lovely TV spot. The commercial features an Avant model, equipped with the latest TDI engine and we have to admit the old model is convincingly made to look modern and sexy.

Part of the appeal comes from having the right soundtrack, Chemical Brothers' "Star Guitar". The techno song from 12 years ago is something every 30-something buyer in Germany remembers and it still has a modern, mechanical vibe.

The A4 Avant ultra is the latest version of Audi's compact executive estate. It's equipped with a 2.0-liter TDI engine that has outputs of 136 hp and 320 Nm (236 lb-ft) as well as 163 bhp and 400 Nm (295 lb-ft) of torque.

A combination of efficiency measures developed by Ingolstadt engineers yield a consumption and emission figures that impress: 4.2 l/100 km (109 g/km) (56.00 US mpg).

Sales in Germany have started, with prices beginning at just €34,250 for the 136 hp version of the A4 Avant or €36,350 for the more powerful 163 hp model. The A4 is joined by equally efficient versions of the A5 and A6 with outputs of up to 190 hp.
