Audi A3 Saloon Showcases Its Style in Budapest

The Hungarian capital of Budapest is known for its neo-Gothic Parliament, its many bridges and a mean serving of goulash. Mercedes makes the CLA just a few tens of kilometers from there, but it's Audi who chose to showcase its sedan in the city center of this mid-eastern European country.

The A3 Saloon produced in Ingolstadt rolled into Budapest and admired the sights of the city, from the Heroes Plaza to the Parliament, all while the Germans were showing off its best traits.

With an awesome set of alcantara seats and sporty performance, the A3 sedan is the sort of car you can't love but would love to have.

In Germany, the model was set to go on sale this summer with early models available with 1.4 TFSI 140 PS, 18 TFSI (180PS) and 2.0 TDI (150 PS). Now though, you can also have it with wtih the old 1.4 TFSI with 125 PS and soon the 184 PS super-diesel.

In this video, the A3 Saloon is showcased with the 1.8 TFSI which averages 5.6 liters/100 km (42 US mpg), sprints from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 7.2 seconds and reaches a top speed of 235 km/h (146 mph).

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
