Audi A3 Commercial: Phone Number on MMI

The new Audi A3 has already started arriving at dealerships in Germany. Right now, the A3 is available only as a three-door, and the base model costs from €21,600 which is a very ‘premium’ price.
The A3 has a revolutionary new lightweight modular platform, economical engines and also an ergonomically arranged interior. To promote this, Audi have released a sensual new commercial.

It starts when a young man walks into a bar on a rainy night for a bit of shelter and meets a girl who teaches him how to dance. Like the gentleman that he is (an Audi driver?), he drives her home and gets a big reward.

While he’s kissing him, she writes her number on the touch-sensitive MMI controller. And that’s the story of how the Audi A3 gets you girls’ phone numbers.

“Intuitively simple user interfaces - this is one of Audi's competence domains. All of the buttons, switches and controls are positioned precisely where one expects them. The display of the driver information system (in color on the Ambition and Ambiente lines) positioned between the two large round instruments shows all key information, some in richly detailed 3D graphics - which generates a fascinating effect,” Audi says.
