Audi couldn’t ignore the 2011 Tokyo Motor Show this year, so the Germans brought over not only the A1 Sportback, but also a custom version of the A1. Called the Samurai Blue, this special little three-door pays tribute to Japan’s national football team.
The car has been painted in the team’s white and blue colors and features numerous logos and badges all over. In addition, a set of red painted 18-inch wheels have been slapped on for good measure and for added contrast.

Inside, you have blue stitching on black leather and other accents for the air vents, center console, seat backs and floor mats.

The performance side of the car isn’t wild enough considering it’s supposed to pay homage to a sports team. The car only has 122 hp from its 1.4-liter TFSI engine. Audi will sell the car and donate the proceeds to charity, but they also have a limited run planned for next year.

We'll probably have live photos of this car to show you tomorrow, so stay tuned!

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
