Audi A1 Dynamically Enhanced by Pogea Racing

The Audi A1 has a personality that allows it to serve as a perfect base for aftermarket projects and this is why many tuners target the vehicle. The latest tuner to offer a modification program for the A1 is Pogea Racing, which offers a set of tech goodies for the compact Audi.

The car’s 1.4-liter TSI turbocharged petrol engine has had its output boosted from 122 hp & 200 Nm to 156 hp & 266 Nm. The vehicle’s electronic speed limiter has been removed, with the tuner claiming that the car can reach a top speed of 245 km/h (152 mph). The company calls this Stage I, mentioning that the pack is destined for everyday use.

Customers who really feel the need for speed can opt for Stage II, which brings additional charge air cooling and a different ECU map. In addition to that, the A1 gets a KW coilover suspension (Variant 2). The tuner also offers its own exhaust system, which is made from stainless steel, as well as a BMC sports air filter.

The “communication” with the environment takes place at the in-house exhaust system, consisting of front and rear silencer and two 76 mm laser engraved Skyline tailpipes fully manufactured in practically indestructible US409 marine stainless steel. Finally, the sports air filter from the BMC is worth an honorable mention,” stated the press release.

The stopping power has also been upgraded, as the vehicle has been gifted with a Brembo braking system. The rims of choice for this tuning package are the OZ Racing Alleggerita HLT, which use Continental ET35 Sport Contact rubber.
