How embarrassing can such a happening be? Showing some decent quad-riding skills both down the hill and back, on a narrow, snow-covered trail and doing it perfectly, adding in some donut in the snow only to subsequently crash into a tree in the silliest manner possible?
If you think such a scenario is impossible, this video will prove that these things really happen. We can only assume that the guy was either so happy he made it safe down the hill and back that he lost the grip on reality for a moment and crashed. Or maybe he's just a decent rider with an indecent amount of bad luck.
