It's never easy losing someone important, but petrolheads know leaving your old car behind after buying and old one is a sad experience.
Whether it's your old man's car or your first car bought with your own money, it served you well, and your experience behind the wheel was able to grow thanks to it.

Why are we telling you this? Because we stumbled upon a video posted by Nissan on their YouTube channel, where four people are attending a funeral. It all takes place in a car scrapyard, but the deceased is an old Nissan Sentra sedan, not a human being.

The four participants in this impromptu funeral start by saying a few words about the car that's about to be crushed by a metal compactor. In the background, you'll be able to hear Miley Cyrus' tune "Wrecking Ball", courtesy of a weird lady playing an electronic orgue.

What Nissan wants to tell us is parting ways with an old friend is never easy, especially one as trustworthy as the Nissan Sentra. Also, the 2015 Nissan Sentra was named “Highest Ranked Compact Car in Initial Quality” by JD Power and Associates, another motif behind this commercial.

At its origins, the Nissan Sentra was nothing else than a rebadge Japan-bound Nissan Sunny until 2006. The seventh-generation Sentra was revealed in 2012, with a completely redesigned interior and exterior, with styling upscaled to look more similar to Nissan's other sedans, the Altima and Maxima.
