With over 100 Premier League goals, the 30-year old soccer star has been working hard for his success ever since he was a kid. But it was all bad luck for him the other day, when his $28 million mansion in Little Aston, Staffordshire was hit by car thieves.
The burglars took two luxury cars right of his driveway. Both the Audi RS6 quattro and a top-end Range Rover were swiped during the break-in. Local police claim the robbers snapped a lock on a window, took the two sets of car keys and drove off early on Saturday morning.

Thieves have devised methods of snapping these types of cylinder locks in a matter of seconds while still being able to operate the lock to open the door”, sergeant Richard Morris of Staffordshire Police said.

Since we’re talking about vehicle theft in the UK, maybe you’re wondering what the chances are for a driver to actually get his car back once it was stollen. The response to this question may vary from case to case, but we can tell you a little bit of what can be done. Apart from the average random checks of vehicles police sometimes do, police departments also receive tips on the location of stolen vehicles through TWOC.co.uk.

As to the guy owning the car, Bent is currently in a one-month loan at Brighton & Hove Albion he joined on November 26. Three days later he scored on his debut for the Championship club, opening a 1-2 defeat to his former employers Fulham at Falmer Stadium.
