While Aston Martin seems to be increasing its focus on its racing activities these days, we prefer to get away from the track in order to enjoy their cars. We’ve recently had a go in the 2014 Vanquish and we noticed quite a few reasons for which Astons belong in the mountains.
First of all, the elevation change requires discipline from the drivers - the natural aspiration under Aston’s bonnets requires one to keep the engine on its toes in order to extract full performance.

Then there’s the sheer voice of Aston Martin engines. When the rock wall next to you makes the that sound reverb, you just know you’re in heaven.

Since we’re talking about GTs here, you can always calm down and the car won’t have any problems in eating up the miles at a slower pace. In fact, it will reward you for this.
