Only 100 units will be built, but that is nothing new for a brand with Aston Martin’s image and self-esteem. However, such a track beast is indeed a bit eerie for the company that provided stylish cars for Agent 007, the world’s most famous spy.
Before you start asking yourself how is James Bond a spy if everybody knows his identity, don’t bother. There are better things worth reading about and of course, watching, like the new video promoting the Aston Martin Vantage GT3.

Being the track junkie that it is, the hardcore Vantage GT3 special edition went to a nutritionist and lost around 100 kg (220 lb) in comparison to the standard V12 Vantage S. You know, it ate a lot of carbon fiber that went straight into the door casings, hood and roof.

Gym was a must so the Vantage GT3 offers 600 HP and 625 Nm (460 lb-ft) of sheer British wrath from that 6.0-liter V12 roaring under the (carbon fiber) hood. There’s also the issue of containing such amount of power, but that was fixed after the racer received Brembo carbon ceramic brakes.

Besides the fact that it can blast from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.7 seconds, the Vantage GT3 offers a seven-speed automated manual transmission and a limited- slip diff, so humiliating other contenders on the race track is starting to look like an exciting prospect.

This is the kind of message Aston Martin wants to send with a new video showcasing a car that managed to go beyond the madness we like to call the Aston Martin V12 Vantage S. Watch it and tell us what you think in the comments section.
