Every year, the Neiman Marcus annual christmas book offers a variety things for rich people to spend their money on very cool gifts, and this always includes a special edition car or two. For 2013, they wanted an Aston, and when they contacted the British maker, they probably said "let me get Q".
The Vanquish Volante Neiman Marcus Edition will be a very rare and quite pretty beast, priced at $344,500, $46,000 more than the standard model. For that money, Q by Aston Martin will offer you a very special and exclusive Seychelles Blue exterior paint. This is a tribute to the DB6 Volante currently owned by HRH Prince of Wales which featured in the Royal wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton.

All ten examples have already been sold, and one will make its official motor show debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show on November 22nd, also being one of the first Vanquish Volantes in the country.

“Since first being shown as a coupe, the Vanquish has quickly established its Super GT credentials and a loyal following amongst sports car enthusiasts worldwide. We are therefore delighted to launch the new Vanquish Volante, and in particular this very limited edition here at the Los Angeles Auto Show in conjunction with our dealer partner Galpin Aston Martin. Not only is this an opportunity for customers and enthusiasts to see a truly unique example of the Vanquish Volante but it also serves as a fitting demonstration in the degree of personalisation now possible via Q by Aston Martin," said Julian Jenkins, Regional Director for Aston Martin.
